Program Management and Fleet Support

For the past 20 years, L3 Unidyne has been the go-to provider of engineering and fleet technical support for the U.S. Submarine Force. Currently serving the fleet under the auspices of the Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (recently renamed from the Norfolk Ship Support Activity), L3 Unidyne has previously held predecessor contracts with the Fleet Technical Support Center, Atlantic (FTSCLANT), the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Detachment Norfolk, and the NAVSEA Combat Systems Engineering Station (SEABAT). Tasks performed under these contracts include:

• Fleet Technical Assistance - responding to shipboard equipment casualties, providing solutions through distant support and on-site technical assistance
• Equipment and System Assessments - supporting formal assessment programs including Total Ship Readiness Assessments (TSRA), Combat System
  Readiness Assessments (CSRA), Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical Readiness Assessments (HMERA), inspections by the Board of Inspection and Survey
  (INSURV), and Pre-and Post Deployment Maintenance Assessments (PDMA)
• Modernization - installation of upgrade and new systems and equipment employing Alteration Installation Teams on a worldwide basis
• Pierside Availability Repair Services - supporting pierside installation and repair in conjunction with schedule CNO availabilities.
• Integrated Logistics Support - developing and distributing ILS products in conjunction with other services
