L3 Henschel to Provide Ship Control Product Support and Sustainment Services for Military Sealift Command Vessels

AYER, Mass., July 2, 2014 - L3 Henschel announced today that it was selected by the U.S. Navy's Military Sealift Command (MSC) to provide product support and sustainment services for Henschel Integrated Bridge and Machinery Control products installed on MSC vessels. The five-year indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (ID/IQ) contract has a base value of $2.8 million with a maximum value of $14.7 million, if all options are exercised. The work includes technical and engineering services for critical ship systems on board the T-AO 187/199-class as well as other MSC vessels.
